Hi friends, how are you today? I’m great and the last two days I got to spend some quality time with our kids. My daughter, who is 18 was so sweet and took me to dinner on Sunday night for my birthday and then yesterday my stepson came down (he’s in college) and we got to have dinner and laughs with him too. As they get older you cherish those moments they share with you…lol. Anyway today I’m sharing my Spring Easter Table in our kitchen nook.
You don’t have to go out and buy all new dishes or spend a lot of money on accessories.
I love to shop for pretty things at thrift stores and diy when I can too. The roses dishes I have had for years and I’m sure you’ve seen them before. I found the cute polka dotted small plates last year for $4 and there are 8 of them and I LOVE them. I found the painted glasses years ago for a few dollars too.
Do you remember on a Tuesday Treasures day I shared the yellow flower napkin rings I found and they were in a bag of 6 for $2.95. I debate painting them but I held them up to my plates and LOVE the pop of yellow.
I decoupaged Dollar Store Eggs with brown paper and shared how to do that the other day here too.
Our kitchen nook has these cute little shelves built in so it’s the perfect place to display small items and I LOVE to change it up before certain holidays.
Some of the pieces I’ve had for over 20 years. I bought a grouping of cabbage bunny teapots, pitcher and deviled egg plates way back when and we would always host Easter for our family (20 years ago).
Through the years I have just added pieces as I’ve found them while out thrifting. If you haven’t been out in thrift stores lately, go check them out, as you can find so many great holiday décor items especially when you’re not looking and only for a couple bucks.
Isn’t that bunny teapot darling??
This is a super tiny teapot that I love!!
If you need a little inspiration, check these out.
Check out this Easter Peeps Floral Arrangement I made.
I shared 20 Egg Decorating Ideas here
and 10 Great Ideas for Easter Peeps here.
and I made this Hanging with my Peeps Art that is hanging in my Living Room and ……………………………………………..
Do you celebrate the holiday? And if so do you host it or go visit family and or friends?
We’re hosting this year and looking forward to a fun and casual day. I need to figure out the menu and if we’re eating inside or out.
I’m linking up to From My Front Porch To Yours, Katherine’s Corner and Two Purple Couches so if you have a minute go on over and check out all the inspiration, crafts, diy, furniture makeovers and more.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day, Lisa
