Hi Friends, How are you today? I hope great. My daughter left on her vacation yesterday so I got up early did my work, took her to breakfast and then dropped her with her dad. I then headed to one of my thrift stores out in the Oc and then to one of my besties for an hour visit. It’s always so nice to have a little girl talk and laugh and then I got in my car and headed back. We were chatting about all the fun things we did this weekend and on Sunday we got together with my husbands Sister and her bf. He made the most delicious smoked ribs, barbecued vegetables and corn and she brought all the goodies to make a Berry Trifle.
It was so delish and easy so I thought I’d share it with you.
You can use a fancy Trifle Dish or if you don’t have one you can use a glass bowl.
And if you like to add a little Rum to the layers of pound cake, I say Why not?
Here’s what you need: Strawberries, Blueberries, Cool Whip and Pound Cake.
Wash and clean your berries and slice. Add a little sugar to the strawberries to get them juicy too.
Then just add your layers.
The bottom layer is thin slices of pound cake and a little drizzle of Rum.
Then do a layer of strawberries, then blue berries and then the Cool Whip.
This is super easy to make.
And it’s a great summer dessert because it’s light and you can add any berries you like.
And it looks sooo pretty too. I hope you try it soon too.
In case you’re like me and need a Trifle Dish also, I checked a few out and I’m looking at this one. This is an affiliate link and if you were to purchase I would earn a few cents. I only share things I use or love of course.
Oh before I left my besties today, I snapped a picture of her beautiful Purple Petunias and had to share.

You might also want to try this Raspberry Pretzel Jello too. It’s one of our faves.
